Congressman Kurt Schrader (D-OR) released the following statement on the 8th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001:
“Eight years ago this morning our country changed forever. Most Americans vividly remember where they were when they heard the terrible news. Across our country today Americans are taking the time to reflect on the sacrifice of the brave men and women who lost their lives that day and those that continue to defend our country abroad and here at home. I stand with every American in honoring the sacrifices made then and now by our troops, veterans, first-responders, and all those who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001.”
